1. Information We Do Not Collect

ClearBudget does not collect any personally identifiable information. Specifically, we do not collect:

• Your name, email address, or any account credentials
• Financial data, transaction history, or budget information
• Device identifiers or location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data

2. Data Storage

All data you enter in ClearBudget — transactions, categories, budgets, goals — is stored exclusively on your device using local storage. Your financial data is never uploaded, synced, or transmitted to us or to anyone else.

ClearBudget works fully offline. An internet connection is only required for two optional things: in-app purchases (Pro subscription) and daily exchange rates for the multi-currency feature.

3. Exchange Rates

If you record transactions in more than one currency, ClearBudget downloads a table of daily exchange rates from our server (once every 24 hours) so it can convert amounts into your main currency.

This request contains no personal or financial information. It does not tell us what you spent, which currencies you use, or who you are — the app simply downloads the same public rate table for everyone and does the conversion on your device.

4. In-App Purchases

ClearBudget offers an optional Pro subscription through Google Play (Android) and the Apple App Store (iPhone and iPad). Purchase transactions are handled entirely by Google, Apple and RevenueCat, subject to their respective privacy policies. We only receive confirmation of whether a subscription is active — no payment details are ever shared with us.

5. Backup & Export

The Backup & Export feature (Pro) allows you to export your data as a JSON or CSV file. This export is initiated by you and shared via your device's native share sheet. We have no access to exported files.

6. Third-Party Services

ClearBudget uses the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat — subscription management. Their privacy policy applies to purchase flows.
• Google Play — app distribution and payments on Android.
• Apple App Store — app distribution and payments on iPhone and iPad.

We do not use any advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or tracking tools.

7. Children's Privacy

ClearBudget does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since we collect no data at all, the app is safe for users of all ages.

8. Changes to This Policy

If we update this privacy policy, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. We encourage you to review it periodically.
